Lauren-Rose is equally at home in opera, music theatre, early music, choral and concert work and has been praised for her "fantastic comic timing, extraordinarily clear voice and memorable agility” (DC Metro Theatre Arts). Over the years, Lauren-Rose's favorite roles include Catherine (Pippin), Musetta (La bohème), Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte), Despina (Così fan tutte), Johanna (Sweeney Todd), Le feu (L’enfant et les sortilèges), Soeur Contance (Les dialogues des carmelites), Margot (The Desert Song), Gianetta (The Gondoliers), Magnolia (Show Boat), Phyllis (Iolanthe), Mrs. Nordstrom (A Little Night Music), and Josephine (H.M.S. Pinafore). Lauren-Rose has sung at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, Boston's Jordan Hall, Washington National Cathedral, and with ensembles: Boston Baroque, Pittsburgh Camerata, Chatham Baroque, Bard Festival Chorale,  Marble Collegiate Choir and Boston Cecilia. In 2015, she was one of six vocal fellows chosen to work with renowned mezzo-soprano, Stephanie Blythe and composer, Ricky Ian Gordon at the Fall Island Vocal Arts Seminar. In 2014, she received a full scholarship to SongFest and travel to L.A. to perform art song and tour a concert of 1930's & 1940's Hollywood themed music, and work with composers, Libby Larsen, Jake Heggie, and John Musto. Lauren-Rose's competition/award winnings include national finalist in the Classical Singer Competition, full scholarship to Maryland Opera Studio, New England region 1st place NATS Competition winner and New England Conservatory’s Concerto Competition 1st place winner and recipient of the Music Theatre Scholarship. Lauren-Rose holds degrees from New England Conservatory in Boston and University of Maryland's Opera Studio.
